CAREGIVERS' REQUIREMENTS
Health Care Assistant (HCA) Certificate (or equivalent recognized credential in BC)
CPR & First Aid Certification (Level C or higher)
Food Safe Level 1
Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Sector) – must be clear and current
Proof of Immunizations (including TB test, flu, and COVID if required by client/facility)
Specialized Training (Preferred, but not mandatory)
